South Carolina Ag + Art Tour
Saturdays and Sundays throughout June

The South Carolina Ag + Art Tour is a unique event that brings community members together to learn more about rural life in the area. This is a free, self-guided tour where attendees can visit various farms throughout South Carolina during the month of June. By participating in this tour, you will be able to get a firsthand look at where your food comes from. Additionally, you will be able to see local artists in action and have the opportunity to purchase some of their handmade works. From exploring farmers’ markets to dancing to the traditional melodies of bluegrass and folksongs, you will have a great time while exploring.

Summer Festival @ The River Place
Saturday, June 30 at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Hosted by Unite 2 Ignite, Summer Festival @ The River Place is going to be fun for the whole family. The goal of the Unite 2 Ignite movement is to mobilize the Christian Community, and this event aims to do just that.

The entire community of Fort Mill and surrounding areas is invited to this family-friendly and FREE event. There will be food, games, crafts, face painting, inflatables, and music for everyone to enjoy. Additionally, there will also be several fun contests that attendees can participate in. You can compete against others in the hula hoop content, push-up content, singing contest, or tug of war. Plus, there will be live performances from the Vacation Bible School children and dance teams.

This event hopes to bring unity to the community, so come on out to enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship.

Tega Cay’s July 4th Celebration
Wednesday, July 4 from 9:00 am – 9:30 pm

Come together with Tega Cay and the surrounding communities to celebrate the 4th of July. This is a day packed with family-friendly fun, and there is something for everyone to enjoy. The day will begin with the annual land parade which will be full of decorated floats, moving vehicles, community groups, neighborhood groups, local business, and more. Golf carts will also take part in this year’s land parade, and awards will be given to those that are decorated the most creatively. The boat parade will then begin at 11:00. This is enjoyable for both those who get into decorating their boats and spectators who love to watch them all go by.

But that’s not all the fun! Some of the other events that will be going on throughout the day include the Red, White & Blue Golf Tournament, log rolling, canoe joust, ski show, water slides, and a fish fry. The day will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display that is scheduled to begin at 9:30. This is one 4th of July celebration that you will not want to miss!
