Phil Henderson, president of Henderson Properties, was interviewed by Jon Wilson on Fox News Charlotte, the subject was How to Deal With Home Owners Associations. Mr. Henderson spoke on how important it is for homeowners to pay their home owner’s assessments to keep their homes out of foreclosure. He explained that home owners associations have a duty to foreclose on a property in which the assessments have not been paid. Everyone within the association has to pay a certain mandatory amount and if these fees are not paid then it hinders the association’s ability to maintain the common areas and amenities which affects the entire neighborhood.
