Blake Anderson – Real Estate Agent
Say hello to Blake Anderson, joining our Real Estate Sales Team. Blake moved to the Charlotte area in 2020 after growing up in Southern California and has enjoyed making North Carolina home ever since. Before entering real estate, Blake spent nearly 18 years with ETS Express, Inc., where he advanced from the art department to become Head of Product Development. Throughout his career, he led teams, managed complex projects, implemented new technologies, and worked closely with both domestic and international manufacturing partners. These experiences helped develop the strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills he brings to his clients today.
Blake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Entertainment and Game Design from ITT Technical Institute in Oxnard, California. His passion for understanding how things work, improving processes, and finding creative solutions makes him a natural fit for real estate and property-related projects.
When he’s not working, Blake enjoys spending time with his wife and family, hiking, archery, bowling, and tackling home improvement and renovation projects. He’s also an avid barbecue enthusiast who loves smoking meats and experimenting with new recipes. A lifelong DIYer, Blake is always eager to learn something new and take on his next challenge.
Paul Pistole – Maintenance Technician
Originally from Los Angeles, California, say hello to Paul Pistole. Paul has called the Mooresville, North Carolina area home for the past five years. He brings more than 20 years of experience as a residential electrician, along with a strong background in construction and home improvement.
Paul is married and the proud father of his 10-year-old daughter, Penelope. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time exploring both the mountains and the beach.
A dedicated outdoor enthusiast, Paul has completed the challenging 211-mile John Muir Trail through Yosemite National Park twice, spending 23 days on each trek. His commitment, endurance, and attention to detail carry over into the work he does every day. Welcome Paul!
Samuel Eisele – Rental Property Manager
Samuel has called the Statesville area home for most of his life, growing up in nearby Harmony, North Carolina. As a longtime local, he knows the community well and has deep roots in the region.
Before getting into the property management industry, Samuel spent nearly three years working in real estate sales as a licensed Broker, building a career helping clients navigate the housing market. His background in real estate provides him with a unique perspective and understanding of the needs of property owners and residents alike. Samuel was a member of Parks Deter Property Management and we’re thrilled he’s joined the Henderson Properties team.
Outside of work, Samuel enjoys staying active through pickleball and hiking, taking advantage of North Carolina’s beautiful outdoor spaces whenever he can.
Sofia Monsalve – Resident Services Specialist
Joining our Rentals Team as Resident Services Specialist, say hello to Sofia Monsalve. Born in Cartagena, Colombia, Sofia was raised in New Jersey and New York. She brings a strong background in property management, operations, customer service, and team collaboration. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Sofia is known for her organization, attention to detail, and passion for creating positive experiences for both clients and colleagues.
When she’s not working, Sofia enjoys painting, creating clay art and pottery, and spending time with her son trying new activities and adventures. Her favorite treats include sushi, yogurt-covered pretzels, and a Red Bull or Coke Zero to keep her energized.
A fun fact about Sofia: she successfully lost 110 pounds in less than a year and documented her entire transformation journey, demonstrating incredible dedication and perseverance. Welcome Sofia!
Solomon Shumaker – Rental Property Manager/Realtor®
From Hiddenite, North Carolina, say hello to Solomon Shumaker. Solomon has spent most of his life in the greater Statesville area and as a longtime local resident, has strong connections to the community and a deep understanding of the region.
His professional background includes sales and management with Verizon Wireless, as well as years of experience with Parks Deter Property Management. In fact, Solomon’s journey with Parks Deter began when he was just 15 years old, working on the make-ready team before advancing into other roles over the years.
Solomon is a licensed Realtor® and holds an associate’s degree in communications. His combination of industry experience, customer service expertise, and knowledge of local markets allows him to serve clients with professionalism and care.
When he’s not working, Solomon enjoys staying active at the gym, tackling yard projects, biking, and kayaking. A fun fact about him is that he has traveled all the way to Beijing, China, giving him the opportunity to experience a completely different culture and part of the world. Welcome to the team!
