Sales Division Manager
Kevin McClave, a Charlotte native, heads the Sales Division and is responsible for recruiting, training, and guiding the real estate sales agents toward their goals. Kevin currently lives in Charlotte with his wife, Lauren, twin boys Henry and Holt, and dog Pollie. After attending North Carolina State University, Kevin entered the PGA of America’s “professional golf school” and was an assistant golf professional at Macgregor Downs Country Club in Cary, NC. After being in the golf business for five years, Kevin made a career change and decided to focus his energy and time to the family business. Kevin’s father John McClave co-founded what is now Coldwell Banker United Realtors – this is where Kevin launched his real estate career. “I have been surrounded by real estate my whole life, and I always had an interest in the buying and selling of real estate.” Kevin has been an active Realtor serving home buyers and sellers in the greater Charlotte area for over 10 years. In 2012 Kevin branched off and became the Manager/Broker-in-Charge (BIC) for what is today Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Carolinas Realty. Kevin’s top priorities there were recruiting, management, and agents’ production growth. “Watching an agent reach their goals that they once thought were unattainable, and being a part of that, is one of the biggest reasons I went into management,” Kevin shares.
Whether working with agents to reach their individual goals or dealing with a first time buyer, property investor, a luxury home seller, or anyone in between life stages, Kevin respects the fact that his clients’ and agents’ investment plays a significant role in their financial and emotional lives. To assist them, he relies on his experience, continual study of market changes and managing tools, and the additional knowledge gained from taking specialized classes that add to his skills and understanding of specific client/agent needs.
