Current Positions
Assistant Property Manager
Henderson Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager. Qualified candidates must have good phone presence and excellent customer service skills. Ideal applicant will be detail oriented, have a positive attitude and possess the ability to work with limited supervision. 1-2 years of previous experience in property management, real estate sales or apartments is preferred.
Duties of the Assistant Property manager will include but not be limited to:
- Handle all tenant issues for the properties managed by Henderson Propertiesincluding all phone calls, emails and walk-ins
- Coordinate the entire eviction process for delinquent tenants
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties
- Coordinate maintenance services
The Assistant Property Manger must possess proficiency in use of computer. This position is very time intensive and requires someone who is highly organized and is able to multi-task.
Must have a 4 year college degree and 1-2 years of property management experience or equivalent of education and experience. Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Executive Assistant
Henderson Properties is seeking a professional for the position of Executive Assistant. This is a part time position. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing complete and dedicated support to the company President. This person will act as the central point of contact and provide for all administrative needs of the President. The Executive Assistant is a representative of the President and Henderson Properties. As such, this person is expected to perform in a professional manner in every encounter with clients, coworkers, vendors, and visitors. The Executive Assistant will assure discreet handling of all business.
The duties of the Executive Assistant will include but not be limited to: Handle administrative detail for all projects, arrange travel as directed, process outgoing mail for President, compose correspondence/reports as requested, process incoming and outgoing written correspondence for President, handle all inquiries as they relate to administrative duties for President, handle all inquiries within Executive Assistant capacity, coordinate appointments as directed, schedule and prepare President’s meetings, assist in planning of corporate sponsored events.
The Executive Assistant must be a self starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal direction within a team
environment.

Community Associations Manager Associate
Henderson Properties is currently interviewing for an administrative professional to fill a full-time position in our Community Association Management Division. This person will assist in the day-to-day administrative and community service obligations of the Community Association Manager to which they are assigned.
Duties of the Community Association Manager Associate will include:
- Keep and update calendar of meetings/events to which Community Association Manager’s attendance is required
- Assist in meeting site preparation and scheduling and attend meetings as directed by Community Association Manager
- Generate and process homeowner correspondence and Board of Director’s reports
- Handle requests and inquires from homeowners through telephone and email communications
- Assist in bid comparison report preparation
- Maintain community files and keep system information updated
- Process invoices for payment
- Miscellaneous written and verbal communication
Requirements
- 4 year degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of experience in property management/real estate or a similar field
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast moving environment
Janitorial Technician
Henderson Properties has an immediate opening for a Janitorial Technician. The Janitorial Technician will be responsible for completing tasks to keep buildings clean and in good sanitary condition while following assigned schedules.
Duties of the Janitorial Technician Include:
- Keep building clean and in good sanitary condition
- Empty trash cans, take out rubbish to compactor
- Service and stock restrooms
- Clean windows
- Vacuum carpets
- Dust furniture
- Remove trash
- Wash floors with cleaners
- Light general maintenance
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
- Weekend work required. $11.00 per hour.
- 1 – 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience

Janitorial Technician
Property Maintenance Technician
Henderson Properties is seeking a full time Property Maintenance Technician-Strong Handyman with maintenance and/or punch work skills for property maintenance and repairs.
Responsible to complete maintenance work orders as assigned, document time, materials, and general conditions observed on properties. Position requires good time management and scheduling skills as well as ability to work well with general public.
Technical skills required include carpentry; siding, window and door repair/replacement; general property maintenance; roof leaks and sheetrock repairs; plumbing, electric and HVAC; handyman skills. Must have reliable transportation and own trade tools.
