Current Positions

Maintenance Coordinator
Due to continued growth at Henderson Properties, our Maintenance Department is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator.  This is a full time position.
  
This position is responsible for the following duties:

  • Coordinate responses to internal and external customer needs.
  • Monitor and respond to maintenance/service requests received via phone, voice-mail, e-mail, and company website.
  • Generate, schedule and monitor work order activity through completion.
Previous experience with work order processing / construction or maintenance trades / ERP/MRP systems use preferred.
Experience with Jenark Software Systems a plus.

Property Maintenance Technician
Henderson Properties is seeking a full time Property Maintenance Technician-Strong Handyman with maintenance and/or punch work skills for property maintenance and repairs.  

Duties include executing repairs to window and roof leaks, drywall repair, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs.

Must be a self starter with reliable transportation and trade tools.  Will be responsible for accurate documentation of time and material utilization.

Property Restoration Technician
Due to continued growth at Henderson Properties, our Maintenance Department is seeking a Property Restoration Technician.  This is a full time position.

Property Restoration Technician Duties include:
  • Surface preparation
  • Painting and touch-up;
  • Minor home/property maintenance;
  • Carpet cleaning
  • Custodial tasks

Responsibilities will also include accurate documentation of time and material utilization.

Must be a self starter with reliable transportation and trade tools.

Assistant Property Manager
Due to continued growth in our Property Management Division, Henderson Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager. Must have good phone presence and excellent customer service skills. Ideal applicant will be detail oriented, have a positive attitude and possess the ability to work with limited supervision.

Requirements of this position include (but are not limited to)the ability to:

  • Handle all tenant issues for the properties managed by Henderson Properties including all phone calls, emails and walk ins
  • Complete Property Inspections
  • Perform general clerical and administrative duties
  • Coordinate maintenance services for Rental Properties
  • Proficiency in use of computer

This position is very time intensive and requires someone who is highly organized and is able to multi-task. 

A 4 year college degree is required; Bi-lingual (Spanish0English) a plus.

Part Time Leasing Agent
Henderson Properties has a part time Leasing position for a local apartment community. Position will require two to three hours each Saturday.  Must be proficient in MS Word and Outlook; Excel helpful but not required.  Other qualifications include a minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience and 1 year Sales or Leasing experience.  Applicant should have a positive attitude, enjoy achieving success over challenges, have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.

 Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Answering and responding to phone, voice mail and email inquiries,
  • Following up on leads
  • Showing available apartment homes
  • Assisting walk-in clients
  • Assist in maintaining current status on available homes,
  • Facilitating the application and move-in process
  • Assisting in the application process for future Residents

Two years of college required.  Must be self starter and able to work with minimal supervision.

Community Association Manager Supervisor
Due to our growth, Henderson Properties is seeking a qualified professional to fill a new position in our Community Associations Division. 

Candidates must hold a Bachelors degree or above as well as the PCAM designation and have a minimum of 5 years property management/real estate experience.  Ideal candidates will also have staff supervisory experience.

The CAM Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the Community Association Managers.  Additionally, this position will be primarily responsible for the creation and maintenance of Department forms and procedures, as well as providing training and support on various levels of the Community Association Manager position.

Job Requirements

Strong written and oral communication skills, knowledge of real estate principles and practices, ability to think independently and make sound decisions are all important requirements for this position.  Candidate should also be proficient in the use of word processing software, a personal computer and a printer.
